I'm Jonathan. Most people call me Jon. I absolutely love sharing and teaching the gift of meditation and I'm happy you're here.
My aim is simple: to help men navigate the stresses of professional and personal life through the teaching of meditation and mindfulness. I want you to learn how to create more peace, calm and happiness in your life.
Men, I'm with you. We experience a unique set of challenges and stresses, often fighting silent battles that can interrupt, damage, and sometimes, destroy us. Meditation can help us navigate this stress, find more enjoyment in our lives, sleep better, prepare better, rest better, relax better, love better, be better. It has helped me very much in these areas and I believe it can help you too.
You see, I was once a bitter young man, plagued by fear, jealousy, doubt, self-judgement and self-loathing. I was angry at myself and at the world and I was prone to outburst and recoil. I was an emotional roller coaster. Fifteen years ago I stumbled into a Vipassana center in Thailand and began this journey. I will remain on it for the rest of my life. Meditation has taught me how to navigate myself with patience and wisdom. I couldn't imagine my life without it. I want to help you make it a part of yours.
A little about me: I am a certified meditation teacher from Ohio, USA. I started my practice at Wat Prathat Monastery in Chiang, Mai, Thailand in 2011. I'm certified through Arhanta Ashram in The Netherlands. Through practice and classwork, I've crafted my teaching style into a secular approach that breaks meditation down into its fundamental core elements so that it is easily understood and put into practice.
